This is the entry for 's second contest. The first was litterature, the second was do a drawing representing a song. I chose the song Desert Rose by Sting.

Anyway, you can see that some things aren't outlined in black. No, it wasn't by accident, it was on purpose. I tried to make things look almost...like...ghostly.

You see, this is where the 'I dream' lyric comes from. 'I dream of rain'. That's why there's storm cloulds and rain, but it's pale. 'I dream of gardens in the desert sand'. That's why there's flowers near the rose, but it's pale. 'I dream of love as time runs through my hand'. That's why the female wolf is pale. (Female wolf= Desert Rose. Other wolf= Desert Sun...whom can't tolerate the heat at the moment. <_< )

Now, about the second verse of the song, 'I dream of fire, these dreams are tied to a horse that with never tire', that's why I made a horse running, and it's sort of...well...in flames. 'Her shadows play in the shape of a man's desire', I decided to put shadows on the ground.

Anyway, I'm done my ranting now. >_<
